Baked Pizza Loaf Special Breakfast Recipe

There is a definite need in homes across the country for an easy-to-take meal for children that requires very few ingredients and little time to prepare for a busy weekday night.
I happen to have an answer for a quick fallback meal. Baked pizza bread!

Ingredients: 

  • 1 loaf of French bread
  • 1 jar of divided pizza sauce
  • (or DIY tomato sauce & spices / herbs)
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese
  • Choice of garnishes: Meat - Vegetables - Pineapple - Peppers - Olives

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 *
  2. Slice French bread in half, long
  3. Rub the olive oil on the outside of the bread and place the two slices on a baking sheet
  4. Spread half a jar of pizza sauce on each open slice of bread
  5. Layer your toppings and your cheese
  6. Bake at 350 * for 12 to 15 minutes or until the cheese melts and the edges start to brown
