Easter Bunny Chow Secret Recipes Idea

Easter Bunny Chow Secret Recipes Idea

A fun spin on the chow chow recipe, this Easter bunny with pastel-colored M&M and a touch of Scottish caramel is sure to be a big hit!

In the past few weeks I have made lots of family treats. It might have something to do with having a kitchen island that I love and that actually has room to do things now. And I haven't heard any complaints from the family about any of the treats, including the Oreo Spring Bark I made last weekend.

After picking up a few bags of spring-colored M&M, I just knew I had to make puppy food. I seriously LOVE this stuff. I have to hide it or I end up eating too much. And with pastel colors for spring, we like to call it Easter Bunny chow!

Ingredients

  • 8 cups Chex rice
  • 12 oz white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 1 sachet of M & M's
  • Scottish caramel pudding mix (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the white chocolate chips.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the melted chocolate and chex. Mix well.
  3. Put the powdered sugar in a large ziplock bag, add the chex and shake until it is coated. Optional: add a few spoonfuls of Scottish caramel pudding mixture to powdered sugar
  4. Spread on waxed paper or baking sheet to allow the chocolate to harden.
  5. Mix in colorful M&M in spring.
  6. Store leftovers in an airtight container.
