Fall dinner recipes are my favorite, there is just something about hot and comfort food on a crisp fall night! I'm all about meals that can go from the fridge to the table in as little time as possible with leftovers for lunch the next day.
After going to college in Minnesota, hot food was a staple on our dinner menu. When I first heard the term "hot dish" from one of my roommates, I didn't know what they were talking about. I learned that this is about what most people call a pan - a kind of meat, vegetables and starch all assembled and cooked to perfection.
