How to make Mashed Potato Recipes

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of potatoes
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • taste the salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Peel your potatoes and cut them into large 1-inch pieces.
  2. Place the potato pieces in a saucepan. Cover with salted water and bring to a boil.
  3. Cook your fluffy potatoes. Test whether the potatoes are cooked by pushing them with a knife. The knife should pass like butter.
  4. Filter and discard the water, bring the potatoes back to the pan.
  5. Start mashing the potatoes with a pestle.
  6. Add the butter and milk to the potatoes and continue to mash while the pot is still on low heat.
  7. Crush as much as you want. Some people like it more stocky.
  8. Taste and see if you need to add more salt and season with black pepper.
  9. Mix well and remove from heat.
  10. Serve while still hot.
