Quick Cabbage Sausage Skillet

The cabbage sausage pan is a quick meal for lunch or dinner that tastes great any time of the year.
At the same time, the sausage and cabbage pan is an inexpensive meal and is a great idea when you don't know what to cook.
I have prepared a quick video below where I show how I make this delicious pan of sausage and cabbage from scratch.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 sliced ​​onion
  • 2 cloves of chopped garlic
  • 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
  • 1 teaspoon paprika powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon powdered black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pair of sliced ​​sausages, * see Notes
  • 3 cups chopped cabbage
  • Chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan and add the oil. Add your minced onions to the pan and sauté for a minute. Then fry your onions until they are translucent and soft.
  2. Add your chopped garlic and sauté quickly. Fry the entire contents for 1-2 minutes or until the onions turn slightly yellow.
  3. Lower the heat or take the pan for a minute under the heat to add the spices.
  4. Also add the spices, caraway seeds, paprika powder, black pepper and salt.
  5. Add your sausage slices
  6. Return the pan to the heat and sauté the contents over a higher heat for one minute. Reduce the heat and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Now is the time to add the chopped cabbage. Mix the cabbage in the contents of the pan.
  8. Sauté for 3 minutes over high heat, then reduce the heat and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes without mixing more.
  9. Garnish with chopped chives and serve while still hot.
