Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 sliced onion
- 2 cloves of chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon caraway seeds
- 1 teaspoon paprika powder
- 1/4 teaspoon powdered black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 pair of sliced sausages, * see Notes
- 3 cups chopped cabbage
- Chives for garnish
Instructions
- Heat a pan and add the oil. Add your minced onions to the pan and sauté for a minute. Then fry your onions until they are translucent and soft.
- Add your chopped garlic and sauté quickly. Fry the entire contents for 1-2 minutes or until the onions turn slightly yellow.
- Lower the heat or take the pan for a minute under the heat to add the spices.
- Also add the spices, caraway seeds, paprika powder, black pepper and salt.
- Add your sausage slices
- Return the pan to the heat and sauté the contents over a higher heat for one minute. Reduce the heat and fry for another 2-3 minutes.
- Now is the time to add the chopped cabbage. Mix the cabbage in the contents of the pan.
- Sauté for 3 minutes over high heat, then reduce the heat and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes without mixing more.
- Garnish with chopped chives and serve while still hot.
