Simple Easy White Chocolate Oreo Bark

Simple Easy White Chocolate Oreo Bark

Packaged in pastel-colored M & M's, this white chocolate Oreo bark recipe is a simple and delicious treat for Easter!
I probably say it every year, but I've never been so ready for spring! We had a taste of the warm weather last week and then we had snow a few days later. Fortunately, it melts quickly enough, but there is a little guy who is ready to go out and I no longer want to take care of snow boots and mittens!
So, in the spirit of celebrating all things of spring, even if the weather is not cooperating, I thought it would be fun to make treats with M&M in spring color.
Around Christmas I saw a lot of shared peppermint recipes. And believe it or not, this chocolate lover had never made or even eaten a bark recipe! So it was on my to-do list. With Oreos, M & M's and glitter, this bark recipe is the perfect treat inspired by spring!

How to make white chocolate Oreo bark

Ingredients

  • 1 bag of vanilla candies
  • 8-10 Oreo cookies
  • 1/2 cup M & M's
  • sprinkles

Instructions

  1. To start, mash the Oreos into small pieces. I find the easiest way to do this is to put them in a ziplock bag and mash them by hand. You can also try to crush them with a meat mallet, but don't get carried away by hammering them like I did and you end up with a mess.
  2. Then melt the candy in the microwave or on the stove. Usually I melt them in the microwave at 50% for 30 seconds at a time, stirring until they are completely melted.
  3. Place parchment paper on a baking sheet and pour the melted candy over it, spreading it out with a spatula or spoon. Sprinkle over the crushed Oreos, M&M and glitter.
  4. Now for the hard part ... the wait. Put the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 10 to 15 minutes for the candy to melt. Once it has hardened, break it into pieces to eat it! Yum!
