Material

For sandwiches
  • 4 slices of sourdough bread
  • 4 oz mozzarella slices
  • 1 large tomato sliced
  • 2 oz roasted red pepper
For plague
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons of grated parmesan
  • Salt and pepper flavor
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
Instructions
  1. To make a plague, add basil, garlic, walnuts and parmesan cheese to a food processor. Season with salt and pepper and mix. While the food processor is on, slowly pour the olive oil into the mixture to emulsify the olive oil.
  2. Spread the pesto evenly on four pans and place the pans in a panini maker or toaster oven for 2 minutes.
  3. Next, put mozzarella cheese, tomatoes and roasted red pepper on a slice of bread so that the cheese melts and the vegetables become softer.
  4. When the cheese has melted, close the sandwich and cut immediately to serve
