  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 15 Oreo cookies, crushed into small pieces

For the icing:

  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup Oreo cookies, crushed into small pieces

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine the warm water and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add in the warm milk, sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs and flour. Mix well until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  6. Roll the dough out into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
  7. In a medium bowl, mix together the butter, sugar, brown sugar, cinnamon and crushed Oreos.
  8. Spread the filling evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
  9. Roll the dough tightly into a log, and cut into 12-15 even pieces.
  10. Place the cinnamon rolls into the prepared baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. While the cinnamon rolls are baking, make the icing. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese and butter until creamy.
  12. Add in the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and crushed Oreos. Mix well.
  13. Once the cinnamon rolls are done, let them cool for 5 minutes before spreading the icing over the top.
  14. Serve warm and enjoy!
