Ingredients:

  • 12 oz egg noodles, cooked and drained
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked egg noodles, shredded chicken, condensed cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, milk, and shredded cheddar cheese.
  3. Mix well and transfer to the greased baking dish.
  4. In a separate mixing bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, melted butter, salt, and pepper, and sprinkle over the top of the noodle mixture.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the casserole is heated through and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.

Note: You can also add frozen peas, carrots, or broccoli to the noodle mixture for added nutrition and color. This recipe can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Reheat in the oven or microwave for a quick and easy meal.
