Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground sausage
  • 1 lb baby potatoes, halved
  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground sausage over medium heat until browned and crumbled. Drain any excess fat and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the halved baby potatoes, trimmed green beans, chopped onion, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, chicken broth, garlic powder, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.
  4. Mix well and transfer to the greased baking dish.
  5. Top with the cooked sausage and cover the dish with foil.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the potatoes are tender.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
